Full refurbishment of toilet blocks split over 2 sites completed simultaneously over a period of 9 weeks.
​This project was located in St Ives and Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire. A secure compound was established and clear signage to direct the public around the works area.
The building works were extensive with the buildings being fully stripped back to the main structure and incoming supplies and then fully rebuilt to new layouts internally, the scope of works included,
-Asbestos surveys prestart
-Strip out and demolition
-Structural alterations to form new openings
-New plumbing from the incoming supply
-New electrical installation from the incoming supply including fire system
-New internal blockwork walls to the new layout
-Alterations to internal drainage network to bypass collapsed drains with historical issues to provide new suitable foul drainage network to main external manholes
-New external metal entrance doors
-Full fit out of 10nr accessible and ambulant WC’s including tiling, painting, dry lining and fixtures and fittings
